Bio-Chem Fluidics recognized very early in its history the need for providing its OEM clients with customized solutions to suit their particular needs. The first customized Bio-Chem Valve (designated S1, for Special #1) was produced in the late 1980's. Since then, we've produced literally thousands of custom designs in all product categories and some that defy categorization!
“Customization” encompasses many different levels of complexity. Less complex customized solutions include the addition of connectors, different lead wire lengths and client specified operating voltages, etc. At the other end of the complexity spectrum are complete valve or component re-designs to suit a particular application. In the past these have included:
- Cassette-style pinch valves
- Multi-port high-pressure rotary valves
- Bottle caps with customized connections
- Special materials of construction to suit harsh environments
